I've been reading The Windflower, but am having trouble getting through it due to a state I refer to as "general life chaos." This state exists almost all the time in my life, but some weeks the chaos meter reads a little higher.
I can say that The Windflower is full of information dump (albeit in the form of succinct and historically fascinating tidbits) and shifts in POV (better known to conference-attending geeks such as myself as head hopping). It just goes to show that tastes change.
Except for some tastes, of course. There's a great scene where the heroine gets covered in sugar and the hero has the opportunity to lick her clean. Delicious.
