Well, you might as well start calling me Joanna Bourne's Lady because hot damn this was a good romance. I don't think I've ever read a romance where the secondary plot tied so effortlessly to the primary plot and left me hanging until the last five pages in terms of figuring how in the hec things were going to work out. Bravo, Ms. Bourne! This one is headed straight for the historical romance canon.
My favorite line? "Lovemaking is of the mind, not a grappling of anatomies."
